Scam SMS obligations land on Australian carriers
The Reducing Scam Calls and Scam SMS industry code extended mandatory identification, tracing and blocking obligations to SMS. It is the root cause of most unexplained Australian delivery failures since: traffic with a mismatched or suspicious sender ID is filtered at the network, not by your provider, and the delivery receipt frequently does not say so. Included as the oldest load-bearing regulatory fact in this category.
