# Dokploy

> Open-source self-hosted PaaS on Docker Swarm, with multi-node clustering built in.

Dokploy is the newer of the two self-hosted options and takes a different architectural bet: Docker Swarm underneath, which gives it multi-node clustering and rolling deploys across several servers with no extra tooling. Feature coverage is close to Coolify, git deploys, previews, cron, databases, automatic TLS, with a smaller ecosystem and a smaller template library. It is the better pick if you expect to outgrow one box.

**Verdict.** Coolify's architecture argument in reverse: Docker Swarm underneath means multi-node clustering and rolling deploys across several boxes with no extra tooling. Younger, smaller ecosystem, fewer templates, pick it over Coolify specifically when you expect to outgrow one server.
