Hexonet, part of Team Internet Group after the CentralNic consolidation, runs a command-based HTTP API with genuinely enormous TLD coverage and open-source client libraries for most languages. Bulk availability, suggestion data, contact handles, status events and auth-code retrieval are all present. Signup grants an OT&E account immediately; live registrations need an approved reseller account and a funded prepaid balance.
