Infrastructure by region

Global comparisons hide the things that decide a local decision: whether a provider has a region here, how much latency the Pacific adds, who bills in local currency, and what data residency actually requires. These pages re-cut the same data for one country at a time.

Most infrastructure writing assumes a US region is nearby, that USD billing is invisible and that data residency is somebody else's problem. Outside North America none of that holds, and the advice that follows from it is quietly wrong.

These pages take the same rosters as our category hubs and re-cut them for a local reader: which providers have a region here, what the latency actually is, who bills in local currency, and what the compliance requirements really say as opposed to what people assume they say.

Australia is the first, because it's where we are.
