- Deprecation
Claude Sonnet 3.7 and Haiku 3.5 retired
Two widely deployed workhorse models went dark on the same day. Applications pinned to the dated snapshots had a hard cutover; those calling bare aliases had already been moved. A useful reminder that pinning buys you a deadline, not immunity.SourceLogged in the llm apis comparison - Deprecation
Anthropic retires Claude Opus 3
The original Opus stopped serving and its model ID began returning 404. Anthropic had published the retirement date well in advance on its deprecations page — the clearest example in the category of a lab giving developers a fixed date to plan a migration against.SourceLogged in the llm apis comparison
How this changelog is kept
Events are written by hand and dated to the day the change took effect, not the day we noticed. Each one names the tools it affects, so a shared change — a cloud provider raising egress prices across four products — appears on every profile it touches rather than being duplicated four times.
Everything here also flows into the site-wide changelog, which is the cross-tool feed of what is moving in developer infrastructure pricing.
