Backblaze launches B2 Overdrive
A higher-throughput B2 tier aimed at AI and HPC workloads, priced above standard B2 in exchange for much higher aggregate bandwidth. Standard B2 pay-as-you-go pricing was unaffected at the time, but it signalled that the flat commodity tier is no longer the whole product — B2 has since moved to $6.95/TB with all Class A, B and C API calls free.Logged in the s3 compatible storage comparison
How this changelog is kept
Events are written by hand and dated to the day the change took effect, not the day we noticed. Each one names the tools it affects, so a shared change — a cloud provider raising egress prices across four products — appears on every profile it touches rather than being duplicated four times.
Everything here also flows into the site-wide changelog, which is the cross-tool feed of what is moving in developer infrastructure pricing.
